Rachel has been in business for herself most of her working life and trained in business and life coaching, business marketing, been a travel magazine editor, worked in website development, graphics, guided tours and cruise ships tours and run and managed several of her own businesses for 28 years. She is a professional photographer & astrophotographer who works in the commercial photography and tourism sector keeping her content alive and real. She owns a Stargazing Business Collaborative called Southern Skies Experience

She has the ability to be strong in creativity and photography but also in business development which is key, this has helped her to propel her brand into the New Zealand market to maintain a strong business share of her industry, she is actively connecting with astrophotographers and astronomers to join her collective and photographing commercial jobs and environmental portraits throughout the South Island.
She juggles her business and her family and now in her fifties her vision for capturing women in their energy is a particular focus, showing them how stunning they are, hosting groups or one on one for local beach shoots or the mountains a favourite

"I have a holistic approach to life and photography, for me it's about the adventure, capturing people in the light and a bit of woo, the challenge it sometimes takes and the ability to push my limits to keep educating myself that has been my personal inspiration.
Many of us photographers have an abundance of energy, or like me live a bit on the spectrum, the challenge of being able to do multiple jobs is how we thrive and create at our best. I am able to connect with energy so I love to be able to use my camera to capture that in people."
